After round robin play Saturday July 23, at the TPT World Series, 14 of the 26 entered teams were sent packing but the Nationals went on to Sunday with a nine seed. This resulted in a consolation round semi final contest against the Kinects from Kentucky at 9 AM back at Dixie Heights. Once again Brock Dykxhoorn stepped forward to lead the Nationals from the mound. In a gutty performance Brock left with a 8-5 lead after 3 1/3 innings. In his time on the hill, Brock struck out 6 (including 5 in a row at one point) and walked only one. Unfortunately both Brock and reliever Rhys Tapper were victimized by an out of this world performance by the Kinects number three hitter(Farmer) who went 4-4( 3R HR, 1R 2B, 1R 1B, 2R HR) leading to an 11-8 Kinects win.  Read More
