Hazell Commits to Mars Hill
Submitted By Jeremy Jayaweera on Friday, September 7, 2018
The Ontario Nationals are excited to announce that RHP Andrew Hazell has signed his National Letter of Intent to further his academic and baseball career at Mars Hill University (NCAA D2 – North Carolina) for the fall of 2019.

Hazell is currently in his fourth year with the Ontario Nationals as he completes his high school diploma.  Hazell has been a true leader on the mound in every season sporting Nationals colours.

Hazell grew up in Brantford, ON before playing in Paris for his Minor Baseball Career. He then joined the Nationals at the beginning of grade 9 and has never looked back since. Hazell has put in a lot of work over the years and is very excited for his senior season with the Nationals before stepping on campus next fall.

His parents Dave and Christine are very proud of Andrew and his accomplishments thus far. Andrew is the first Ontario National to attend Mars Hill University. We wish Andrew and his family nothing but the best; congrats and well deserved.
